Hi Wayne, what's your take on this? S04 : Thanks. Love the show. I've got to say that I just adore living in a big city. S05 : Not only do I get to meet all kinds of interesting people, I can also get around easily by public transport, S06 : eat out every night in a different place and never get tired of exploring. Cities are cool. S07 : Alright, let's go to Trudy in Gloucestershire. What have you got to say to Wayne, Trudy? S08 : Never have I heard such a dumb reason for living in a concrete jungle! I wouldn't be caught dead in a city. S09 : I live in a small village in a remote part of the country, and I still have a really busy social life. S10 : So busy am I that I never have time to get bored. But I'll bet that Wayne does, whatever he says. S11 : Over to Rita in the exciting city of Bristol. You're on the air, Rita. Got any ideas on country life? S12 : I most certainly have. I couldn't bear the silence. I've got to have noise, bustle and excitement. S13 : Never did I think I'd become a city girl: I was born on a farm in the wilds of Wales, you see. S14 : But try as I might, I could never settle down and enjoy it. I had a thing about cities. S15 : So when I was fifteen, I upped sticks and headed for the bright lights of Bristol. S16 : Who are you trying to kid? What about the crime, poverty and urban decay? S17 : Come off it! Surely you don't think that cities are dangerous places? S18 : Hey, no arguing, guys! We've only got a few minutes left. Time for one last caller. S19 : Hiya, it's Maggie from Glasgow. All I can say is that Wayne and I can't be living in the same city. S20 : Glasgow, safe? What with reckless drivers, gangs - even the muggers go around in pairs! S21 : The only way to be safe on the streets is to drive a tank. But that would only add to the pollution. S22 : That's all we've got time for tonight. Thanks to all our callers.
