N56 : Fifty-sixth lesson T01 : I'm sick and tired of the hustle and bustle of London. I need some peace and quiet. T02 : All those comings and goings, with people rushing hither and thither from dawn to dusk. T03 : Why are you ranting and raving? That's part and parcel of city life! T04 : I want a neat and tidy house in the country where everything is spick and span. T05 : But in a city, you can pick and choose where you want to eat. You can wine and dine your girlfriend at any time. T06 : But I can't stand the wear and tear on my nerves. And city people are so rude! T07 : Don't be so prim and proper! Cities are fun. I agree that there are pros and cons. T08 : Too right! After a day on the Underground I'm black and blue all over. T09 : How can you remain so cool, calm and collected? You and I are like chalk and cheese. T10 : It?s a question of give and take. I love London, lock, stock and barrel - and London loves me.
